Genetic engineering is the terms apply to the direct manipulation of an organism gene. This is a laboratory technique used by scientist to change the DNA of living organisms but it is different from traditional breeding where the organism’s genes are manipulated directly.
With the use of these technologies there are some of successes numerous applications that uses by all mankind today. Just like improving crop technology, it is synthetic human insulin that uses bacteria.
There are already many newly created creatures using this genetic engineering. Just like a chicken with four legs and no wings. A goat that has created with spider genes that creates silk in its milk. Are this all things really possible? Maybe it’s hard to believe but for others especially in the field of science, there will be no impossible.
These kinds of techniques have been popularly used in most people for the alternation of livestock and laboratory animals in where they use in experimentation. And because science is all new, many people are question if this kind of technology is safety for all. Well, there is no way that someone can predict the potential consequences to human’s health and safety. It maybe has the power to change who we are now, but genetic engineering makes the whole digital revolution look nothing, it may alter the basis of life in on earth.
But there is no more precious than the original look of every creature that God created. Maybe, the best thing is not creating new creature, but protecting them from all the things that could make them harm either for human or animals.
