Are you a Compass learning teacher? If so, one of the biggest challenges you face with your classroom is the lack of presence you have in a physical sense. Sure, you can teach them well. However, it is harder to assess and motivate your students from a distance. For this reason, many teachers try to create robot like students. You can too. Here are some suggestions.
Quizzes
Quizzes are one of the most effective ways to create robot like behavior with your students. A quiz will assess their knowledge. This is great for you. However, it is even better for them. It will keep them on their toes. If they know a potential quiz could happen, they will be more likely to read and study the lessons.
Create A Course Plan
Furthermore, consider creating a course plan for your students. This plan can include everything from study tips to deadlines. You can also suggest a timeline to complete each class. This is helpful for students. It creates a behavior that is more routine as well. Many times, students fail in their online courses because they lack motivation or direction. Your course plan can give them the direction they need to succeed.
Length
Finally, the length of the class is always important in an online setting. Keep in mind that your students will be more tempted to skip parts, cut your class short, or not listen to it all. The shorter the class is, the easier time you will have attracting their attention. While you don’t want to cut things short, you do want to effectively and efficiently cover each subject. If you do this right, your students will respond and move forward in a robot like fashion.
Good luck building a better robot in your online classroom. With a little effort you can train your students properly.

Vehicles are a concert of different components functioning in harmony that boggles the mind. There is a complex engineering in every vehicle allowing thousands of parts to work together to move you down the highway. Vehicles have come a long way since Henry Ford put his first Model T on the road! Today, vehicles are equipped with state of the art data modules and controllers that monitor and adjust various fuel, air and coolant conditions. There are numerous sensors and chips that regulate everything from battery power to wheel and road adhesion, braking and steering.
The Radiator is Only the Tip of the Iceberg
The radiator of a vehicle is really only a cooling reservoir for the cooling system. It is normally situated at the front of the vehicle to accept outside air to flow through it while the vehicle is in motion and through the use of a thermostat mounted on the cooling inlet of the engine, allows the correct amount of coolant to flow through the engine maintaining a normal operating temperature. If any portion of the cooling system becomes damaged, coolant will leak and cause the system to malfunction, thereby causing the engine to overheat. Broken, worn or cracked hoses and belts are usually the most common areas of concern in a cooling system.
Cooling by Oil
The radiator and all its buddies are not the only cooling the engine requires. Motor oil in the engine keeps the internal parts such as pistons and valves lubricated during operation. Any point of the engine that has lubrication or coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid or power steering fluid flowing through it is a potential problem causer. Have your vehicle checked regularly and perform a periodic coolant flush to assure smooth and cool operation!

Battery technology has long been the bane of electric car developers everywhere, holding back their dreams and aspirations, as the battery is still an imperfect design on so many levels. But there is a brand new battery design that has just been developed that’s causing a buzz in the electric car world, not to mention the battery world.
New design requires little to no cooling
This new battery is being called a “game changer” in the car industry, and for good reason. Developed by Massachusetts-based A123 Systems, their battery is a lithium ion battery that does not need thermal management systems, i.e., the traditional cooling systems that all cars have needed up until this point. With this battery versus using traditional lead batteries (as well as other standard lithium ion batteries), it will be able to help save on the overall cost of electric cars since the cooling system will no longer be needed (and may help spur the movement of electric cars as the popular vehicle too). They have called this new battery the Nanophosphate EXT.
Extreme temps are no match for this new design
This exciting new battery also has some other impressive features. Testing revealed that the batteries can retain 90% of its initial capacity at 45° C (113 Fahrenheit), which is a significant improvement on the current batteries that are available. You can also start a vehicle (deliver starting power) in temperatures as low as 22 below Fahrenheit with this battery. Whether you live in warm or cold climates, batteries with qualities such as these could mean electric cars may finally be viable compared with gasoline cars.
While this new battery may not be available yet for consumer at a car battery shop or the like, it shows promise that battery technology can be improved on.

Genetic engineering is the process of taking a gene from one living organism and placing the DNA from one gene into the cell of another gene. This produces new traits that the organism didn’t have before. By doing this, a person can create or produce traits in an organism, like plants that they want it to have that it otherwise wouldn’t. For example, in a plant that is grown for crops, a farmer could insert DNA of one plant into another so that it will produce a trait that he wants it to have, such as purple flowers. Genetic engineering is an art form and modification of the traits that the living organism already has. People have used this successfully on plants and animals, but they are now starting to use it for humans.
How Does Genetic Engineering Work On Humans?
Parents who are expecting a baby use genetic engineering to add traits to the baby that they want, such as blue eyes. Questions are arising as to whether this is moral and ethical or not. Some say it is “playing God” when someone adds traits and characteristics to a fetus instead of letting nature take its course. But people really want certain traits in their offspring, so they are willing to do what it takes to make sure they have a boy with blue eyes. Genetic engineering is not a new idea, but it is definitely growing in popularity among expecting parents. When they find out how easy it is to change one or more traits in their babies. Genetic engineering is taking on a positive effect in humans, however. It is being used to treat genetic disorders, and people are finding relief thanks to this breakthrough.
Gene therapy is still experimental, but how it works is; a new gene is added to replace the old diseased one, causing healing and relief in most people.
Genetic engineering has been used in lots of ways, and it is still under experimentation, but as we advance in science we will find more ways to use it.

Genetic engineering—a term not only nonexistent in the not so far away past but an incredible if not questionable partaking in what is or isn’t/should or should not be left to our own devices. Does Colorado health insurance come into play where this topic is concerned?
What Will It Be Next?
Scientists have figured out a way to genetically engineer everything from algae for the production of bio fuel to potatoes that protect against infestation by potato beetles (yes that means that they are genetically engineering the food we eat… How does your insurance feel about that?) to actual beings. GEAN in Colorado is the area’s action network for biological genetic engineering. Who would’ve thought that in an area is beautiful and seemingly untouched as Colorado, man scientists would be working on ways to take over the world. Okay maybe it’s not that bad but you get the gist. It’s got to be the last thing you think of when you’re standing on a Rocky Mountain mountaintop overseeing the amazing creation before you.
What Exactly Is In There?
I’m not sure—do I or do I not want to know what goes into food that is genetically engineered? Do I even want to get anywhere near it? If you genetically engineer a vegetable that grows in the ground; and the animals that unfortunately burrow into those vegetables are affected; then the birds that eat the bugs that eating the vegetables will be infected; and now that the birds are infected—where does it go from there? It’s going to get into the flowers and the pollen which goes into the air which is carried by the winds to cross pollinate other plants. This is worse than a SCI Fi movie! And that’s not even considering the fact that whatever they did to change that vegetable is now going directly into your body and aren’t there enough chemicals being ingested by humans these days? Do we really need more?
Experts continue to argue that genetic engineering is comparable to doing a complicated cardiac surgical treatment with a coal shovel. Jeeze no wonder Health Insurance costs are on the rise. We are scientifically, technologically seeing to it that our bodies are more chemical filled than the air we breathe.

Hair loss can be one of the most embarrassing things you have to go through in your life. Your genetics might be the reason why you are losing all of your hair. The good thing is that you are not going to have to struggle with this problem much longer, and plenty of people in the world are suffering from the same thing.
Getting Help
One of the many Clive hair clinics is going to be the best thing you can do in order to get a handle on all of your hair loss. You need to find out what in your genetics is affecting your hair so that you are able to get put on the right medication or hair treatments so that you are able to start growing back your hair. You also need to be sure you tell your doctor about your lifestyle and all of the things you do because one of them could be hurting your chances of growing hair.
Diet And Exercise
Always be sure you are eating well because your hair needs to have nutrients and vitamins as well. Your doctor will be able to instruct you on which foods you need to eat more of. Try to cut out any stress or anything that makes you anxious so that you are able to focus solely on getting better. Exercise is very important because it will help reduce your stress levels. If you are a person that hates to exercise then try something simple like yoga. The most important thing you can do is keep yourself calm at all times.
Sometimes our genetics can be a real bummer especially if it affects our hair. Just remember there’s always help out there and you will get better and start growing hair back.

Helping couples conceive is one thing; but are we playing god when it comes to genetic engineering? There’s an argument for both cases.
Helping Texas Women To Conceive
At the Houston Fertility Center, doctors and specially trained staff have been helping Texas women to conceive when many thought all hope was lost. Even families with financial difficulties can receive assistance with not only conception but financial payback arrangements as well. This center understands what family is all about and continues their endeavor to help women become a complete a family. This has become an extremely accepted practice through the years; and many are thankful for its discovery.
Some Things Might Better Be Left To Chance
Whether or not science should have delved into certain matters; the point is now moot. It’s been done. Determining whether or not an infertile couple can conceive is one thing; determining hair color, eye color and sex of a baby—some believe—may not so much be exploring uncharted territory but definitely forbidden territory. The determining of skin color in fact is another factor that scientists have taken under consideration.
Has science overstepped their bounds or is man simply being allowed to utilize their intelligence to its full extent in the pursuit of life’s very beginnings?

As we all know, technology is responsible for absolutely everything involved in our everyday lives. If it’s not in the machinery that we use at work, it’s in the devices we use to communicate and entertain ourselves.
Technology And Medicine
People are living longer now than ever before. That may not be good for the overpopulation status in some areas but it is definitely preferable to the alternative. Medicines that never before existed have been developed and are still being developed to treat illnesses that, as of now, are still relentless killers. Artificial organs and transplants are being used every day.
Lasik Surgery Technology
The beauty of Lasik surgery is that rather than cutting the eye with a knife, a laser is used. This is far less invasive. Since no two eyes are identical, the work that goes into each person’s specific Lasik surgery must differ slightly as well. Computers and extreme magnification are utilized in the process; not to mention, a steady hand on the part of the doctor.
With no less than a dozen doctors within a 12 mile span from the center of the city, it’s doubtful that you’ll have trouble finding the right person to perform your Lasik eye surgery in Chicago.

Have you ever heard of a video telephone with a touch screen that is plug-in compatible via the electric Internet? Well now you have.
Who Has Their Hands in This?
Only distributors, dealers, agents and importers such as Edimax, Trendnet, Zylex, Powerline, Actiontech, Zest Tech… What’s the matter? You aren’t familiar with any of these names? Okay how about Panasonic and D-link, Linsky’s, Netgear or Belkin? These companies are allowing people to employ the power of their business office or home electrical wiring (which is currently installed in their home or business) to establish an on the spot LAN network for the computer. Currently this technology is not applicable to electricity utilizing Phase 3; but rather Phase 1/2 dedicated electrical circuits. This technology is reportedly easy to use and easy to install. Just by plugging into an electrical outlet you can now play games, compare business electricity prices online, reserve tickets, enjoy net radio or movie streaming, check your E mail or generally surf the net to your heart’s content.
How does it Work?
Don’t ask me to get into the technological terminology, but in layman’s terms (sort of): it utilizes a system that allows several homes to access high speed Internet at the same time, a speed of 85Mbps. A power line adapter is used to plug into an already established electrical outlet; further needed are a patented power pack and power line chipset. It uses very little power and is even able to block hackers with its DES encryption. The bandwidth featured is capable of supplying connectivity for network cameras and audiovisual, coverage for wireless LANs, VoIP calls, online gaming, broadband sharing with higher data rates and IPTV.
On a whole other subject, rather than electricity being your portal to the Internet; check out articles on line that refer to the Internet being the portal to what powers your home and appliances.

Genetic engineering is the terms apply to the direct manipulation of an organism gene. This is a laboratory technique used by scientist to change the DNA of living organisms but it is different from traditional breeding where the organism’s genes are manipulated directly.
With the use of these technologies there are some of successes numerous applications that uses by all mankind today. Just like improving crop technology, it is synthetic human insulin that uses bacteria.
There are already many newly created creatures using this genetic engineering. Just like a chicken with four legs and no wings. A goat that has created with spider genes that creates silk in its milk. Are this all things really possible? Maybe it’s hard to believe but for others especially in the field of science, there will be no impossible.
These kinds of techniques have been popularly used in most people for the alternation of livestock and laboratory animals in where they use in experimentation. And because science is all new, many people are question if this kind of technology is safety for all. Well, there is no way that someone can predict the potential consequences to human’s health and safety. It maybe has the power to change who we are now, but genetic engineering makes the whole digital revolution look nothing, it may alter the basis of life in on earth.
But there is no more precious than the original look of every creature that God created. Maybe, the best thing is not creating new creature, but protecting them from all the things that could make them harm either for human or animals.
